7th Biennial Congress of the International Society of Affective Disorders
Data: 28-30 Aprile 2014, Berlino
Affective disorders: integrated approaches for the 21st century
Join us for the 7th Biennial Congress of The International Society of Affective Disorders, 28th – 30th April, 2014 at the Intercontinental in Berlin.
This major international conference aims to promote networking, and advance awareness of the consequence of mental health to global health and human development. This year’s Scientific Programme is packed with world renowned experts in the field, like Allan Young, Patel Vikram, Thomas Schlaepfer, Charles Nemeroff, Alan Schatzberg, Ned Kalin, Rainer Rupprecht and many more. In addition you can earn CME credits for attending the congress, last year’s participants received up to 19.5 credits.
Affective disorders are not a clearly delineated group of illnesses. They include unipolar and bipolar depression, generalised anxiety disorder, and more specific anxiety disorders such as agoraphobia, panic disorder and social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). There is a high level of similarity and co-morbidity among these illnesses and it is sensible to consider them as a single group.
We look forward to welcoming you to Berlin!
